One of the world's leading intimacy coordinators, Ita O’Brien, is on a mission to make sex scenes safer for actors and easier to navigate for directors. For the first time, Ita O'Brien is visiting Australia and New Zealand to share her highly-acclaimed approach to Intimacy on Set.
During this In Conversation Ita will discuss the role of an intimacy coordinator and how it affects rehearsals, filming and live performance, her on-set experiences as a professional intimacy coordinator, the best and worst practices happening behind the scenes, her Intimacy on Set Guidelines developed over the last four years and why sex scenes need to be as carefully choreographed as a fight scene or a dance scene. There will be time for audience questions.
