IT’S NOT JUST AN ACT” AN EVENING WITH RICHARD ROXBURGH AND JESSICA HOBBS

Monday February 17, 2014
6.00PM to 7.30PM followed by drinks
State Library of NSW.

The quality of the relationship that is built between the director and actor can mean the difference between a good performance and a fearless performance. The essential job of the actor and the director relationship is to create a character of such depth and authenticity that it looks effortless.

Our partnership with Screen Australia - “It’s Not Just An Act” series - includes discussions with actors and producer/writer/director. The first “In Conversation” in this series, Jessica Hobbs and Richard Roxburgh will dissect the successful actor/director relationship and unravel how the magic happens.
