Event description:

The audition room is an opportunity for an actor to take ownership over their process. This invigorating one-day workshop focuses on how to prepare for, and engage with the audition process using a series of individual and group exercises. Participants will work with music, text and cameras to strengthen and empower their experience of the casting room.

Bio of host:

Brita McVeigh has worked in the NZ, Australian and United States film industries for 23 years. She has a cross-disciplinary practise where she coaches and collaborates with both acclaimed and emerging actors, writer and directors in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.“I’ve worked with Brita on two films…I’ve even called her from on set to get help with a scene.
