Miranda Harcourt - Step Two Masterclass - Character And Self

07 May 2014
09:30:00 -  16:30:00
The registration period is from 13 Apr 2014 09:00:00 to 28 Apr 2014 22:00:00

Event description:

This is a follow up to Miranda Harcourt's previous one day masterclass that she has held in Sydney and previous attendees to Miranda's original masterclass are encouraged to apply.

In this day-long Step Two workshop Miranda develops on-screen naturalism with fresh games, text and inspirational material. Using unique verbatim approaches to text we will delve deeper into the worlds of white space, internal landscape, journey, vista and GISS. We will work on creating characters and behaviours different from our own, using practical, fast, memorable tools. As always Miranda will follow up with notes, references and links so that you can take the work away and apply the tools yourself.  Preferance will be given to actors who have taken part in Miranda's previous Equity masterclass as this is a logical follow up  masterclass.
