Preparing for an audition with Christopher Sommers
You have an audition – now how do you prepare? Experienced- theatre/tv and film actor Christopher will go through the essential things you need to know for theatre/tv and feature film auditions.
This is geared for the younger and mid career actor.

Bio of host
Christopher graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA Acting) in 2002. His Theatre credits include: Queensland Theatre Company: GASP!, Pygmalion, Orphans, An Oak Tree, Fat Pig, The Crucible, School of Arts , The Exception and the Rule, ANATOMY TITUS: FALL OF ROME (Qtc and Bell Shakespeare Company) Proof, HOODS* (Realtv, International tour ) BEAUTIFUL. (And moor) Forward Movement and Springboard Theatre Company’s THE LARAMIE PROJECT, 23rd Productions CLOSER. LA Boite Theatre: HAMLET and the National Tour of ZIGZAG STREET. His film credits include the upcoming: Bullets for the Dead (lead role), Russell Crowe's award winning The Water Diviner, Fear of Darkness, Predestination, Drive hard, Parers War, The Last Man on Earth, Jucy, Sinngh is King, AFI Award winning Unfinished Sky, All My Friends Are Leaving Brisbane and Festival hit The Horseman. His Television credits include: Hunters (syfy, Universal) Wanted (7 network) Texas Rising (History Channel), Mako (season 2) Reef Doctors, Fatal Honeymoon, Terra Nova, Sea Patrol, The Strip, Monarch Cove, The Starter Wife and Love Bytes. Christopher received a 2008 Lord Mayors Young and Emerging Artists Fellowship. He was one of Queensland Theatre Company’s Emerging Artists for 2009. He has trained with some of the world’s leading acting coaches: Ivana Chubbuck, Larry Moss, Cicely Berry, Laura Gardner, Carl Ford, Ellen Burstyn Robert Benedetti and Mark Travis.
