Bio of host:

Abbe has worked solidly as a voiceover artist for over 25 years, and has recorded almost everything over that time.  She is the regular voice for Spotlight Stores, Garnier and the NAB phone banking service.  She narrates corporate CD’s and DVD’s and documentaries and in 2010 narrated ‘Enlightened’ about the life of The Dalai Lama and Princess Diana’s ‘Everlasting’.

Since the 1980’s she has worked extensively in animation with Principal Cast roles in ‘The Greatest Tune on Earth’ and ‘Lil Horrors’.  She was the voice of ‘Plasmo’, and has had guest roles in ‘The Silver Brumby’, ‘Ocean Girl’ and ‘Dogstar’

Her acting work has included roles in Principal Cast for ‘Law Of The Land’ and the US TV Series ‘Ponderosa’ shot in Victoria.  Her many Guest roles include appearances in ‘Satisfaction’, ‘Blue Heelers’, ‘Phoenix’, ‘State Coroner’, The Man From Snowy River’ and ‘Round The Twist’.  In 2010 she performed the lead in Christine Croydon’s ‘Love Your Poison’ at The Carlton Courthouse Theatre and the role of the very demented ‘Mother’ in Mark White’s vampire film, ‘The Caretaker’ and in 2011 has had guest roles in the ABC's 'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries' and 'Laid 11'.

She has been involved with Equity since the 1980’s, mostly in the area of voiceover where she’s worked with Equity to set rates and conditions in the voiceover industry.  She was on Branch Council in Victoria from 1999 to 2007, serving as President from 2005-2007 and is currently a member of the National Performers Committee.

Abbe also coaches voiceover technique and can be contacted through her website http://voiceovercoach.com.au or on 0419 200 969.
