Due to the heightened Covid alert in NSW we have made the decision to change our Sydney Arts Industry Get Together from an in person event to online event. There will be two panel conversations with guest speakers about surviving and thriving as a creative under the new circumstances we find ourselves in 2021.

10.15am: Developing healthy boundaries with clinical psychologist Dr Julie Crabtree
Working in the entertainment industry means managing unique challenges. This is particularly true following 2020 and in an emerging post-COVID industry. This seminar is a chance for Dr Julie Crabtree to discuss some of the necessary tools that creatives need to maintain their health and wellbeing. In this session she will be focussing on identifying types of bullying and harassment that occur within the industry and how to develop the healthy boundaries which are essential to positive mental health. There will also be a detailed Q and A around how to stay physically and mentally healthy in the industry.

What options are available for creatives to reduce financial stress in times of an employment desert or hardship? As creatives, financial booms and busts are part of our landscape. What options are there to reduce our financial stresses? How do creatives make informed financial decisions and plan for the future when recovering from a pandemic driven recession?
