Improv Club is back! Four Tuesday evenings in a row you'll get to practice your improvisation skills in a safe, supportive environment, facilitated by the one and only Rhiannon McCall!! This intensive runs 6.00pm-8.30pm from Tuesday 3rd Feb through 11, 18 & 25th Feb.  Please only apply if you can commit to all 4 sessions. Ever felt the dread of a blank page staring back at you? Us, too. Join the team at Magnetic Boots as we take you through some basic screenwriting steps in our 5 week course, which you’ll finish with the first draft of a short film. Aimed at actors who want to start making their own work and are looking for some help on the way, over the course of four in-person sessions we’ll look at some of the fundamentals of screenwriting. Loglines - what are they and why are they important? How do you create a beat sheet? You’ll also receive feedback tailored to your work along the way from Shelley, a current writer and storyliner at Shortland Street, and the writer and director of award winning short film Hand in Hand. Once your first draft is completed, you’ll then receive feedback from a CELEBRITY guest tutor on your script and how to make your storytelling the best it can be. At the end of the four sessions, our superstar producer Georgia will provide a run down on how to get your films made, including funding options, as well as how to make your film without funding.
