Mastering the Small Role with Julian Curtis - COMEDY- (Actor Participants)

Bizarrely, sometimes it’s the role of Waiter or Policeman 2 that can be the hardest! An actor wants to bring the full force of their talents to the table at all times, but does this role actually require it? Small supporting demands a balance of imaginative engagement and honouring the storytelling function of the role. Over two weeks (June 21 and 28) Julian Curtis will work on co-star scripts across drama (week 1) and comedy (week 2). Each week will start with an interactive seminar before moving into live readings for those actors wishing to take part. Apply below for the chance to work live with Julian for work on COMEDY scenes scheduled for June 28.  (Drama will be scheduled for week 1  - Wednesday June 21). Scripts will be provided in advance of the workshop for you to prepare. Please note: Observers (auditors) will be present during these two sessions. This will take part at 10am-11.30am Australian Eastern Standard Time on both days (June 21 and 28) and 12-1.30 pm NZ time.
